AMIGA!!!
This was a total letdown i think at the pc demo compo. So maybe i was abit disapointet that neither TBL or Skarla got around to release at the amiga compo, but the releases where all pretty solid i think and of pretty high quality, cant say the same about the pc demos lol. So for me the definate highlight this year have been amiga demos and the real/wild compo, sadly the c64 compo was a letdown aswell, but offcoz seeing all the wonderfull 64 demos from x08 its understandable
crossing my fingers here for stingray on ds, but i have a feeling he is in for some hard competition especialy by that cool LFT guy in the wild compo

fucking worse demo compo i have ever seen]

farbrausch is as boring and overratted as usual
the loonies demo was OK

there was only like 1 or 2 demos that were mildly DECENT.

Looks like this year The gathering was the party to be at, Rupture by ASD is an amazing demo, and Andromeda released there too...

The year of Amiga at BP2009, both by surprising ammount of ntries and also, sadly, by lack of quality of PC and C64 entries. Perhaps the Amiga scene can resurge!!!

Yeah, the best thing I got off Breakpoint 2009 was probably the speech by the guys at Andromeda saying to everyone to get off the fucking internet and PRODUCE.

And that's what I am gonna do

Breakpoint 2009 was inspiring. Thank you!

So why didn't you tell us?

Damn boring pc demos... by the time something cool was shown, I totally forgot the names of some cool previous demos, since the shitty ones had blanketed me memory with.. the great grey nothingness...

Well, my song for the streaming wasn´t be selected, even it had more music and more composition than some of the selected monochord and mononote drum n bass and techno songs. No tracker made song was selected in the official compo. Now I´m waiting for the results of the Unnoficial Tracked Compo.

About the AMIGA demos, I was so impressed with the 3 last demos... absolutelly outstanding demos! About the PC demos, near all were absolutelly CRAP. RUBBISH.

About other systems demos... I recommend you the MSX 2 demo. A must see.

PS: Wow. Still nobody has shouted AMIGAAAAA

I was let down by all democompos. C64 had only one good entry (Extend), Amiga had one or two good entries and one outstanding entry. PC had 3 good entries.

Not a very good Breakpoint year when it comes to releases.

true, but it had one of the best and longest crazy/wild compos i've seen in me life, not to mention the wolverine compo that was quite fun for a commercially "inspired" one

last years "kill teh pc" compo for example was just sad...
