ok, other way around, why should i call the disk [h CLS], there is no specific modification, this disk could be created by everybody.

This is also true for other release. It was released and altered by CLS, after it is a choice. It is not very important actually. Everything depends on the information you want to convey.

                             Released Today:
                             --------------

                  - UNIVERSE From CORE DESIGN Crack Fix -

Fix done by Mok/Prestige!

Release's Info:
---------------

Well we just heard from some people that there's some kind of password
protection later in the game when you try to use the car. We checked it
and yeah, the game asks for the code from the manual. This code is always
the same, so maybe it would be enough to put out a text file with it, but
we decided to remove it completely so that you don't have to bother with
it.

The proper code is 87764 if you don't want to bother with installing the
fix...For others, just undms the fix on disk 1 and the game will accept
anything as that code. If you use any hd-version just use 87764 to pass
the prompt.

While working the game we of course play tested it but we couldn't find
any kind of doc check, and after spending nearly a whole day cracking it we
couldn't spend another whole day just to play test it, this kind of game
can't be finished just by making a trainer, or skipping the levels and so
on... It needs to be played many many hours, and sometimes till then
end... We're sorry for the troubles :(

If you still have ANY kind of probs, you have below the Official PSG
mongols list so just write a message to any of them and we'll make sure to
fix the probs as fast as possible :)

That's all mates, have fun with this game and remember...

sierra_soccer___world_challenge_edition_(1994)(sierra)(m3)(disk_1_of_2)[cr_flt]-amiga (92A9410A) is actually disk 2 of the game!

All "The Zone Crew" versions should be removed since they are the FLT version with the crack intro removed! Such crap shouldn't be preserved at all.

This disk is currently not preserved in TOSEC.

It is. You might have to replace the "_" with spaces though, don't know how you search for disks.

Why is removing not allowed? Who set up that "interesting" rule?

Who knows, in the past i had to explain, why i want to remove real garbage from TOSEC collection.
This disks are not garbage, so its not worth to remove.

They are complete and utter garbage, created by some lamers who took the FLT version, removed the intro and passed it off as their own work. Quite fulfills the definition of garbage for me. Why keep this crap?

We would have needed a "Commodore Amiga - x - Bad Dumps - [ADF]" with [u]/[o]/[b]/[errdms]
lamers are part of the history of AMIGA

Sorry guys, I made the disk buffer (MFMbuffer) a few bytes too long
and it overwritten the beginning of title tune so it was not played at all.
The game works fine coz I played it till the end, but anyway did this
stupid mistake...so install the dms file on disk 1 to fix the problem.

							Mok/Prestige
Note2:
Code:
BUGFiX FOR LAME MEMORY ROUTINES - MORTAL KOMBAT II - ACCLAiM

Yo, it's me again :-) Well, I got plenty of complaints about Mortal
Kombat II not working on a3000, a4000/030, a4000/040 and some high-end
a1200 systems...Some people even accused me of storing bad data on disks
etc. etc. Well the reason was much simplier, the author of the game
wasn't probably proud owner of 32bit fast memory so he fucked up... The
game is allocating fast memory using system then performing such
instruction: (d0 contains fast-mem address)

		and.l	#$00F80000,d0	<-- hahah that's really funny

well, this instruction works, but if you own 32bit fast memory, its address
is something like $07F00000...so after 'and' it's getting address $00F00000
<- and the game is loading into kickstart rom mirror image :-)
The whole 'bugfix' just changes it into:

and it's working fine... Greetz to the dude who started stupid accusations
when in fact it would take him a few mins to find it coz he owns a machine
with 32bit fast...

*NOTE* After testing it seems it works fine on 030 systems but on 040 you
need to DISABLE CACHES to make the game run properly!

Tested now on following systems:
a500 0.5 chip 0.5 fast
a500 0.5 chip 1.8 fast
a1200 2 chip 0 fast
a1200 2 chip 4 fast
a2000 030 2 chip 10 fast
a3000 2 chip ?? fast
a3000 040 2 chip 28 fast - NOCACHE
a4000 2 chip ?? fast - NOCACHE
...
well I hope it's enough...another game after rise of the robots where the
original have completely fucked up memory routines...pfff
Note3:
Code:
The file PSG-MKB2.dms contains our intro that will work on NTSC systems
(will switch to pal) so if you own an NTSC system, you don't have to switch
to pal before running the game...

                          CLASSIC BOARD GAMES

CLASSIC BOARD GAMES WAS FIRST RELEASED IN 1990 UNDER THE OLD MERIT SOFTWARE
THIS GAMES WAS REPUBLISHED IN NOVEMBER 1994 BY JUNKYARD SOFTWARE. WITH THE
OLD DATE OF 1990 ON THE COPYRIGHT BUT 1994 ON THE NEW BOX AND ON THE DISK
LABEL AND THE NEW ELSPA FOR AGES SIGN. SO WITH DEEP INVESTIGATION I RANG
JUNKYARD AND THEY SAID THAT IT IS REREALSED BY THEM AND FIXED TO RUN ON ALL
AMIGAS. SO THERE YOU HAVE IT ITS A BIT LIKE THE PLATIUM EDITION OF GAMES.
HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS CLASSIC AND REMEMBER A GAME WORTH PLAYING IS A GAME WORTH
 BUYING.

INFO FOR DRAGON STONE CRACK FIX
DONE BY THE BLACK CAT!

OK GET THIS CRACK FIX FOR DRAGON STONE NOW YOU WILL BE
ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME WITH JUST THE ORIGINAL 4 DISKS!
(PATCH ON TDR_DS1.dms AND BOOT FROM THIS DISK)
I REMOVED THE RNC PROTECTION AND INSTALLED THE LOADER!
AND WAS QUITE SURPRISED WHEN I LOOKED AT THE DISK AND
SAW THAT TRACK 0 HEAD 1 WAS COMPLETLY EMPTY ,SO THERE
WAS ENOUGH SPACE FOR AN INTRO,GALAHAD JUST COULDNT
CALCULATE THE BOOTBLOCK CHECKSUMME AFTER HE CHANGED IT
(AS THE CHECKSUMME MUST BE `DISK 1` TO BE ACCEPTED BY
THE GAME ,ITS REALLY EASY TO FIX THAT INTO THE SAME
BB CHECKSUME IF HE WOULD JUST READ THE AMIGA DOS BOOK!
BUT WELL HE USED 400KB FOR A TEXT SCREEN INTRO
THAT MUST BE THE WORLD RECORD I GUESS!
GRATULATION GALAHAD! HAHHAHAH

Code:
Game: Dragonstone (c) Core Design `94
cracked(?): Rednex
fixed(!): The Black Cat
trained: Perfection

Note:
This trainer includes the fix done by The Black Cat. So just
unpack the dex file to the disk 1/4. That`s all, folks!

Note to Galahad/Rednex:
Seems to be quite difficult to calculate
a simple checksum of 4 bytes ... Strange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No easy to fix this set...

Why should i call it "Disk 1 of 5", you dont need Disk 5 anymore.

The "RNX - TRD" 5 disk release is the basis for all other versions but you're right, the disk 5 is useful only for the first version.
But hey, is not terrible...

A bit late but trying to answer this. Removal is a sensitive topic and complicates some of the work in the project. On the other hand it is not clear what garbage means and there may be sets that are "similar garbage" but not better image exists.

IMO the main problem with garbage resides in the differences between what people think the project his and its main goal. The main motivation was / is to provide ways to identify images so someone with that set could know it is garbage or not.
The initial addition of many of these so called "garbage" by lazy or uninformed renamers helped (a lot) spreading sets that nobody had (some were just alternates, modified when someone launched in an emulator).

We are trying to be more careful nowadays with new additions, however removing the older sets will make them appear and having to be identified by the renamers again and again.

The project itself could probably help this by providing a way to filter some of these sets (garbage for some), still i imagine that most would just want to have the full thing
