Jim Power can be a good game with only one change: remove instakill and give health hearts / bars. Three hearts is enough and you don't even need the ability to replenish it. Then I'd gladly play it.

Note for some fun Jim Power tunes, check out Huelsbeck's varying albums. There are at least three beefed up Jim Power tracks floating among them.
