ah ok, so you mean start BOOTing from floppy and then continue the startup-sequence from a PCMCIA-connected CF?

touchy art we akira, as this is how we used to mount HDs with ks1.2

yes koney

but by creatin a small recovable ram drive (RAD) when you do a soft reset it boots even faster

I`m sorry to hear about your pcmcia port koney which makes all this talk about it abit daft

but for completenss here are 2 links to the cards akira is on about
http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...roducts_id=440

http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...roducts_id=865

akira:
it still be bootin from the rad and not the pcmcia/cf

I know, but the nitpicking is unnecessary, because you achieve the same means.

As I said, if you want real booting from CFD, just make your own kickstart ROM with cfd device built in.

Not necessarily, my A600 is getting old, it is possible that I need to get a "new" one and then I may consider your solution.

Wicked set m8
AMIGA is the best for GABBA. Will digging out some old E`DE COLOGNE and Nasenbluten records, for a classic Gabba set.

very good but it would have been nice to hear the music you was playing, how about you reedit your video with the non live music over the top then it will be nice to hear as boom boom shaky noise ,emm well you get it ,so can you do an edited version that would be cool.

yes could be nice but a big work and actually the recording is the recovery CD i had recorded in studio on the afternoon so just in case the amiga crashed I was able to reboot without having the music stopped for too long (but luckily I didn't need it, I also forgot to put it into the cd reader!

All a bit noisy for me. Really something coming from a d&b head! Chopped breaks, pads and deep bass is me. Never got gabba.

But, fair play for keeping the Amiga spirit out there in the music world.

Yes that was the point!

Anyway the raw and noisy sound output of the Amiga inspired many industrial addicts in making sounds with it.
