Question IDE-fix97 registration

I got IDE-fix97 buffered device and a floppy with registration data on it.

When I enter this info for registration it says it's invalid?! I installed the software from Aminet.

There is only idefix.adf on floppy and it just over 600KB in size. The ADF programs report its currupted - too small size.

What do I do?

All IDE/EIDE/ATAPI Drivers are programmed by O.Kastl

... supported True ATAPI.

Example: Alfa HD etc.

They sold out their Amiga interests a LONG time ago. The money now goes to Vesalia (which is no bad thing).

The team went on to create some of the best PC software ever (CloneCD/DVD), over half the scene used their products but it was so highly pirated they were never truly financially compensated.

Elaborate Bytes - Oliver Kastl we bow to you.

CloneDVD and CloneDVD2 are not equal.

This one is from DVD X Studios.

This two is from SlySoft Inc. (O.Kastl)

P. S. (in german) @alexh:

Wer sagt eigentlich, dass kein Geld gemacht wurde? Die letzte Version von CloneCD 4 (2004) war Łberall mit Packung zu kaufen (Kackstatt, Kaufhof, usw.) und war erfolgreich. Nur leider lassen die gešnderten Gesetze ab 2004 in Deutschland eine weitere Version nicht zu. So .... dann ist man im Ausland (SlySoft).

You honestly think that type of person pays for anything?

The authors of Nero and WinCD are Multi-Multi millionaires. I doubt the authors of CloneCD are.

CloneCd was excellent in that respect Alex, it was also great in that it read subchannel data and if used properly could copy protected cd's.

It was also good for copying damaged cd's.

Discjuggler was good at that era too especialy for PS1 stuff.

I remember when i first started using clonecd...i had a 4x yamaha scsi burner....cost me an absolute fortune back then but coupled with CloneCD it was awesome...never a coaster made.
I then went over to a sony 8x ide writer...what a piece of poo in comparison.

As I said, the ironic thing about duplication software is erm.. duplication

The only way to make serious money was to get bundled with hardware or to attract corporate buyers.

Nero and WinCD were the masters of this. They might only make $0.50 per drive but they sold squillions.
