Amiga Pinball-games: Regular or AGA-version?

Yup. I'm itching to give these a try, but it's hard to figure out which version is better. While checking the Lemon Amiga list, I see that the regular, older versions are more highly rated than the later AGA editions.

But why is that? Isn't the AGA eds. just like the original, but with 10x better graphics? Enquiring mind want to know.

When I say Pinball-games I of course mean Pinball Illusions, Pinball Dreams, Pinball Fantasies, and Slam Tilt.

Except for Pinball FAntasies which has both, I think the other games only have either an AGA version or a non-AGA version, so you don't have much a dilemma for those.

I actually quite like Pinball Prelude, Past and Future tables.

Not in the same league as Digital Illusions tables, but I played the Past table to death.

If you really want to play a flipper game, nothing beats Slam-Tilt imo.

Pinball Fantasies AGA looks great, so I always play that one. Illusions and Slamtilt only have AGA versions (and they both look fantastic, particularly Slamtilt). Dreams only have regular version.

All of them are great games, so you can't go wrong with any of them either way.

I love Slam Tilt. Made a review some years ago, just for fun. Of course in German.
