Magic workbench beginners questions

Hi.i downloaded and installed magic wb from a link here.its pretty good.just 2 beginner questions

1-can you change the font sizes in magic wb?.i mean i like them, just too small for me to see.i would rather have the old wb type fonts back.

2-i installed the intel background.however its halfway down the page.is there anyway to correct that?

many thanks

1- unfortunately XEN and XHelvetica fonts are only delivered in small sizes. But you can certainly use any other fonts with MWB too. Just run Prefs/Font and select different fonts.

2- MWB needs a screen with 1:1 ratio, so you should select Hires-Interlaced or Multiscan in Prefs/Screenmode. If you don't want the flickering screen and don't have a multiscan monitor, there is an MWB replacement on Aminet which looks better with the default 1:2 aspect. Don't remember the name, though.

The small icons Thomas is referring too are on Aminet (SmallBench):

http://aminet.net/search?query=small+bench

There is another pack also, both of which I use in the ClassicWB FULL and below:

Classic Workbench gets my vote over Magic Workbench every time!
It has two massive advantages over Magic Workbench:

(1) Classic workbench is free to download with no keys/cracks needed, and
(2) Support for Classic Workbench is readily avaialable (just check the threads)

[Edit]Also, Classic Workbench is still under development (and getting better with every release), whereas Magic Workbench is dead.
