Audio problems in old music player

Hi folks,

I've got an old music player (from the late 80s) called Symphony Music that sounds fine on my real A1000, but when I run it in WinUAE (1.5.3), I get a lot of crunch & bleep sounds mixed in with the music. I've experimented with a lot of different configs & settings in WinUAE (and tried it on several computers) and nothing seems to help. Also, I don't see anything unusual going on in terms of the SND & CPU percentages.

Any ideas as to what's going on? I can upload the ADF I've been using to the Zone if anyone wants to give it a try...

Thanks.

It's in the zone: Xmas_SMUS.zip

Also, a couple other things I forgot to mention above:

1. I've also tried it in E-UAE with the same result.

2. Turning on the NTSC option in WinUAE seems to affect the problem (the crunch noise becomes a more static-like noise?), but it doesn't solve it.

Seems to work fine if cycle-exact is enabled. (A500 quickstart + best compatibility)

Thanks. I'm sure I tried that, but I must've had other settings wrong when I did... Sorry for the dumb question.
