A3000t Ram

Allo again all

I've used the search, but came up with nothing (Then again I'm bad at searching forums, so sorry if this has been covered before)

I've gotten my A3000T up and running again (Now using built in 030) but I don't have any fast ram in it.. only 2MB chip..

I would quite like to get some, and as far as I understand ZIP chips are needed...

I have a few questions about it...

1) What kind of zips do I need?
2) Where can I get them?
3) What kind of price am I gunna have to pay?
4) Is there another way without getting an accelerator?

http://www.l8r.net/technical/t-3000ram.shtml a whole page about the 3000's and the ram they use.

I've seen the 1x4 zips go on ebay quite often but they are usualy only in 2 meg lots and the price flucuates.

DJBase has a SIMM adapter too. Cheaper than the Simmfolie and fully working.

Will any of those SIMM adapters work properly in the 3000T though? 'cause the spacing of the ZIP sockets is different than the 3000D

You need the tower version of these simm adapters.

Expensive, AUS$ 140 for 16 MB. For that money you could get 3 Simm adapters.
