yeah I finished it a lot of times without cheating...
I didn't find it that difficult though..never played Zanac ex..
by the way there is no real ending sequence, the game ends after you defeat the big evil 'brains'..

In the home of the underdogs there's the full version of it...

I've finished Zanac cheating.. that boss before the last level is hard EVEN with cheat.. you have like 12 seconds to beat it... it's damn hard.

Zanac EX is rather easy... even more, if you compare it to the original Zanac.

Although, to be honest, I haven't played Zanac seriously for ages.. maybe today I would find it more easy, as my gaming skills are much better nowadays (DAMN, I finished ARMED POLICE BATRIDER without CONTINUING! Am I good or what? )

Suddenly, this thread has turned into yet another thread about PC games. That seems to be the hot topic on EAB these days... (sigh)

lol Yeah, I am good.. did I mention I finished Armed Police Batrider without continuing??? (www.shmups.com - arcade section - for more info in that game...)

Twistin , me and Arnoud aren't walking about PC games, but MSX games

My gaming skills have improved through the years. There are games I found hard years ago, and when I played them again thorugh emulation, I found they weren't THAT hard. And no, I am not cheating or saving the game when I shouldn't do (I hate people who do that.. use the save-state feature of the emulator to cheat)

My favorite genres are probably adventure (Zelda: Ocarina of Time), simulation (Sims, RCT, Sim Theme Park, Sim City), fighting (Super Smash Brothers) and action (Goldeneye, Perfect Dark).

Finished batrider without continuing? You must be a pro! Thanks for mentioning the "let's kick ass together" phrase, that actually made me realize the existance of that game
