completely lost in setting up winipac
i'm hoping someone can enlighten me on this problem. i currently have a candy cab with the joystick/buttons set out as follows:
Joystick 1 Up, Down, Left & Right - Cursor Keys Buttons: 1 - X 2 - C 3 - Z 4 - E 5 - V 6 - B 7 - N 1P: (Enter) Joystick 2 Up - R, Down - F, Left - D, Right - G Buttons: 1 - A 2 - S 3 - Q 4 - H 5 - W 6 - I 7 - K 2P: 2 i have managed to get the 2nd joystick to work for games, but what i want is to have both joysticks working in unison, so i can have a two player game of sensible soccer. can i configure winuae to allow me to play games using these settings as the keys have already been configured to run on a about nine other emulators. i'm running the cabinet on the maximus arcade frontend if this will help in any way. thanks folks. |

as far as i understand the joystick config, you have not much choices here. fixed keyboard layouts are only offered here (game & IO port). a configurable layout would be nice here (right ctrl for fire is to close on cursor keys)
what i not really understand, and never realy used is "Input". configuration 1-4. here you can configure keys like, for example, "joy1-up" and "joy2-up" within the same config. but dont ask me how this works. ![]() ah, forgot, welcome. Edit: have a look here: http://emumovies.com/wordpress/?p=45 needs a login to download the tool *argh* ... :/ Last edited by hit; 17 December 2008 at 15:24. |

In that particular thread, someone else went on to explain how it could be done (though not using the Input-panel, admittedly ). |
