Floppy disk Found lots of stuff in a box... may be FS

I just indexed some of the contents of a box I found so I'm posting here to see if there's any interest in this stuff. It's all in good condition but unfortunately I have no way of testing if any of it still works. Seriously needs a good home, particularly if for archival purposes (I noticed some of these disks aren't in TOSEC yet). A few other good things not listed like programming books and hardware but I want to keep those!

If there's no interest I guess it'll have to be ebay for this lot in a couple of months time when I have enough time at home to sort it out!

Send a message via MSN to Djay
is there any way you can transfer them to the PC?

i think that coverdisks would be well received!

Unfortunately not... all I have left is a pile of disks and an external Amiga floppy drive. If only the catweasal was PCI or something else existed. There are some great apps/games on a lot fo those disks though!

Have you tried disk2fdi yet? It requires two floppy drives however and these at least are pretty cheap

Do you mind me asking which part of the UK are you in?

If your interested in getting them dumped to ADF's perhaps somebody on the board may live nearby and can help you do it.

I personally am in the West Midlands (sorta birmingham/solihull way).

I am in Kent if you needed a hand doing it (if I am nearer)... I don't think I want all those disks for me though - it would take me too long to get around to dumping them all...

Especially the games of course (if they are original anyway)... :)

I'm as far east in England as can be... so totally out the way from most people probably. Anyway, as soon as I can get a spare floppy drive I think I'll give Disk2FDI a try. I need to order some spare bits anyway after an incident between our pet rabbit and a PC mouse cable.
