Searching for old User Groups

Whilst searching for old Amiga user groups, I came across the Commodore User Group Ireland.

One member Karl Jeakle (anyone know him?) has a few interesting Amiga publications to his name.

http://www.jeacle.ie/pub/

I post the link in case anyone finds something useful there.

Interesting you should mention Karl Jeacle, I just heard his mortage calculator being discussed on the radio today! I would have been a bit young for CUGI but I know a few of the members are now active in ILUG.

Thanks for the welcome! It's the Irish Linux User Group. You see a few names popping up on mailing list. No idea what they do, I imagine it involves drinking. proselytising and burning CDs... I don't remember the amiga scene much except through my brothers and my dad, although you'll still see a few a500's going free with a requisite ten shoeboxes full of pirated games so they must have got them somewhere.
I do remember a muslim demo group appeared in Clonskeagh in Dublin when they built the mosque! Can't remember what they were called.
