Hey guys

I called it Blenk and Glenz from the Swedish words Blšnk and Glšns which mean shine and glisten, respectively. Aluminium shines, a diamond glistens. A bit imaginative, but I am an Amiga native. (badum-ching ). When the gfx were limited, things that look less fantastic nowadays, looked so great it went you go "ooh it looks like a diamond"

Promax and Celebrandil did Glenz before me, in Kefrens MD 8 and Animotion. If someone knows someone did it before them it would be cool to know... it's for my Amiga History doctor's degree :P

And the AMP rubber glenz looks better than mine for sure, it's great

So the first glenz is dated february 1990. Anyone got a demo with a glenz vector from a earlier date?

Surely for perverts like us the best one was on TSL France's "Card" demo?

Why do you think the glenz part in that very demo is the best? (I suppose you're speaking about Intro? Dentro? Mentro? Demo?)

It's nice but rather standard. Anyway, I always liked TSM's (RIP) Glenz quite a lot because of the Scoopex and Celebrandil modes.

Yes. It was called "tsl_card" on all the BBS's, compilation disks and on Aminet.

Perhaps my memory fails me but do they not refer to it as the worlds first "masturbating" vector object?

That's not a glenz vector. Also, what has the (silly) name for that part to do with its quality?

Ah, ok perhaps it is a subtlety of English and should have read:

"Surely the best one for perverts like us was on TSL France's "Card" demo?"

Just trying to point out that it was rude.

Our 'EggFlip' intro had a glenz within a glenz. I remember thinking that was quite nifty at the time. But, as usual, I'm probably biased.
