C64 Giana Sisters Title In Finnish Radio!

In this morning happened something that never ever before have happened:

In the YLE Radio (Finland's biggest Broadcasting company) was playing the original title of C64 Giana Sisters that soon faded into an orchestral piece of music. The brief news were that Finnish musician Jouni Aaltonen? (if I remeber it right) have arranged classic game tunes for German symphony orchestra!!

Strange days were living... I wouldn't have bet my money on hearing these tunes from the radio back in the days!

He did it for Symphonic Shades - Chris Huelsbeck Live in Concert
For the full 320 kbit/s recording look at Magix FTP in the folder TCD

I was there (2nd concert which started at 11pm). And although my favorite soundtracks of all time, Turrican 2 + 3, were greatly performed, Giana Sisters was the highlight of the concert!

You were there? Ah man I envy you
For me X-Out was really great arranged and performed. Listen to it at least once per day since

Was really an experience I'm thankful for (and my first concert, ever). I'll post some pics in the other thread on weekend.

Yes, X-Out was well done, too. I think I'm gonna grab those mp3s from your site soon.

Grab the big version in 320 kbit/s. It has a bit better quality which you recognize especially in the piano songs
I would really like to see your pictures from the concert

Of course I'll get the high quality versions - storage doesn't matter that much these days...

Don't expect too much from the pictures - they're all basically the same and in poor quality...

Is there going to be an official release of this we can buy? I love it!

As an aside, the recording seems to be flipped left to right, as the piano highs are at the left of the recoding with lows on the right: that's the opposite of my piano, but I suppose you could argue it's right if the back of the piano is facing the audience...
