AFCD collection needing:

25
52 and onwards

How many cds were there in each collection AFCD, CUCD, AACD and any other amiga magazine cds. Did AmigaUser International have any cds, i used to buy that magazine often. The floppy disks were tightly compressed and packed with softwares. Anyone have any AUI cds.

AFCD52 is the last one - and I'll stick that on tonight.

@TCD

Busy uploading the 2770 mixed modules file (89Mb), God knows how long this will take. 7kb/s is probably the fastest this thing will go for me . FileZilla is great being able to resume whenever you want is superb it might just take a while to fully upload the thing.

I'll report back here when all is complete, Ooh! just checked 25% done since yesterday maybe it'll get to 50% by midnight tonight

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to upload a badly seeded Amiga demo DVD I stumbled upon on the torrents, for a while at least ?

Just finished uploading the file, decided to wait until it was complete Now I can continue as normal as uploading slows me down toooooooo much

By the way Kefrens (Original) Desert Dream DMS disks have been uploaded too, in case anyone out there would like to see it again Don't forget use A500 OCS or ECS if using WinUAE, this will keep timings correct

After a ftp UPLOAD ends, i then que the same files again for upload. Then transfer the que, in a blink of an eye all files we be quickly verified for completeness.

If a file has some bytes or more missing, the transfer will continue with them until completed. It is nice way to verify uploads are transfered completely.

I do the same with downloaded files to verify they are complete.

Is this the DVD you are refering to, or is it a different one.

Pack a file it saves time and bandwidth. Packed files upload and download faster, that's something we all like.

Who atm is reup'ing the CUCDs as packed files to replace the iso's there ?

I'm seeing newer packed files, with the normal iso. Like to know just so we aren't reup'ing the same files. Or are you happy to reup them all, np if you are.

Would you guys like my collection of 414 bootblocks on the FTP also?

There are some viruses and maybe some copyrighted bootblocks (AntiRABB?) in there, tell me if i should not forward them. (if you want them that is)

Reupping CUCD

Hi exoticaga. I reupp the packed CUCD's, because i uploaded most of them at the first time unpacked.
I use Alcohol %52 to create multilevel/multisession CD's as all should have done if the CD contain's more than the datatrack.
Alcohol %52 is a free program. And you can use it to read the .cue/.bin, .nrg, or .mds/mdf format of the CD's on the server.

Bootblock's

Hi TheCyberDruid.

You can use a Bootblock manager to write this bootblock back to a disk. Just search for 'bootblock' on www.aminet.net.

Warning: If you don't use a Virus-Killer, like VirusChecker, your disk with the bootblock will infect other disk's or your system with a virus if the bootblock contain's a virus.
Only if you use softreset on a real Amiga or reset on WinUAE. Have never tried it on WinUAE.

Thanks for the info ma693541
I will kind of 'quarantine' the disks then and check them with a virus killer.
