The version i run FBA-xxx-pro, is a good couple of years old and for what it is i want ie Neo Geo and CPS 1-2, it's perfect. The newer updates are for some of the Sega games like Outrun and Hang on, but also addition drivers added for some of mame stuff not featured already

I think Mame originally went up to 84 romsets - but some of the updates to these emulators by other people use some of the more recent code as well. Not sure what one i use to be honest as i don't bother much with mame- i'd much rather a real cabinet setup

CoinOPS Re-ignite is the latest i think and it is rather good- at least for xbox and compared to early mame

It runs Neo Geo games but i prefer FBA's much nicer presentation for when i choose to play these- i suggest both these two emulators for xbox for your Arcade needs

I don't use any. I've long since stopped using an xbox 1 for anything other than XBMC in the spare room.

Just too slow compared to a sub 100 uATX HTPC.

Hi boys
I'm very interested to use winuae on xbox 360; anyway I haven't found anything using google. Seem that I can find only the older original XBOX version (and not the 360).

Someone can pm a internet link to me with some type of documentation?

Thanks so much

Your kernel must be kernel 2.0.7371.0 or lower for this to work. You have to buy a JTAG and solder it to your motherboard and get the CPU key etc.

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-...-run-homebrew/

AFAIK there is no port of UAE to hacked 360 yet.

For NeoGeo on xbox there's Mame (mameox128 Plus or coinops), FBA-XXX Pro v1.28 or Final Burn Legends.
FBA-XXX Pro seems to do best for NeoGeo. Final Burn Legends for everything else, and Mame for everything else.

I've downloaded and burnt some isos called "badass Emulator Disc" or something like that - 4 discs, one for handhelds, one for consoles, one for neogeo and one for mame.

Final Burn Legends contains all FBA-XXX Pro Neo Geo code. So you can only keep FBL.

I am NOT asking for Roms or DVD images.

Does anyone have these Big ass Xbox Emulator disks - the reason I ask is because I have found them but I wanted to know if anyone had encountered problems with the disks?

I have them all - they work fine. When I downloaded them I didn't use a download manager - did you???? I've had troubles with archives and download managers before.

I installed them all to the hard drive and just play them from there.

Haha, I haven't used one for about ten years. If it isn't on private torrent sites or Usenet I don't need it. What sort of problems are you encountering with the disks Peter?

Hi guys - I got the Xbox Bigass Emulator disk files downloaded (eventually) - didn't use any sort of download manager - three out of the four disks were fine - they all extracted into their own folders and I then burnt them via ImgBurn to DVD's - they all work on my Xbox.

The Mame disk (3a) files all downloaded ok - but when I extracted the files thus creating the ISO to burn, 7zip reported an error "Data error in baed3a mix.iso file is broken"
I end up with an ISO that is corrupt and obviously not able to be burnt.

The advice from the website forum is to download one set of files each day just in case it might be me downloading too much in one hit from the Megaupload website... I am not so sure about this because all the other downloads worked fine but I will give it a go.
I will report back here with any progress I make.

Thanks to jabsy for the original lead - these disks are really good.

Which compressed file is giving the error?

Can not see that that is the problem, as long as the file sizes are similar.

I think it was file 1 that was the problem but I couldn't swear to it - I have deleted them all now.
I am going to download them again over the next day or so.
