Or.. perhaps... CFS: ultra-rare SuperCardAmi-II hardware copier, internal version. The *ultimate* hardware disk copier for the Amiga. Found absolutely nothing it would not backup.

This is the ultra-rare internal version, uses the CIA chips for timing to obtain perfect copies. No other hardware copier did this. Superior to Cyclone, Apex, Blitz, X-Copy (software copier). Comes with v1 to v401 of the software.

Possibly the last known example of its kind.

offers over 200 considered

For Amiga gear in the US you need to either open up the wallet very wide on ebay or just look realy long and hard for a local deal.

Funny somebody said gear is cheaper now then a few years ago, seems to me it is getting more expensive.

There are not enough buyers for new hardware to be sold at a profit, and there are just enough users for high end gear to sell at crazy prices.

All but the rarest or most sought after gear is now as cheap as its ever been due to over supply.

In Europe you can get vanilla A500, A600 or A1200's for almost nothing.

Makes me wonder how big the Amiga scene was back in the day in America. Seems that Europe was Commodore's biggest customer which would explain why kit over here is a lot cheaper due to over supply as Alex put it before...

The eBay revolution has meant that a lot of Amiga's that would have spent the rest of their lives in an Attic or at the bottom of a landfill are now making it back to the market.

U beat me to it Alex!!! I recall having exchange some fairly fruity PMs and posts here with Martin-Flash...

I remember a long time ago now.. UK & Germany were Commodore's biggest customers. Germany and the UK adored the Amiga, and rightly so.

As for ebay. Everyone doesn't like being ripped off, ever bought a bootleg Game music CD, I did not realise it was a cheap knock off product. These things happen, but... think about the person who bought the Amiga component, he is happy; that is the main point. He may have paid extra, but at least the item he bought is legit unlike some of the things being sold on Ebay. Sometimes you have to look at the big picture. The choice is always yours whether you purchase an item on ebay. The problem with Ebay are the spammers who sell cheap bootleg items willingly to buyers with no prior knowledge of the products manufacturing. Copied DS games, Copied GBA games, bootleg Game Music CDs... I could go on, but I won't. My advice is always research the product you are interested in before you make a bid/final purchase.
