Ahhh, yes, I remember those.
Here in my place, the most common ones were sold by russians and vietnamsee called Pegasus, and around the year 1999 (IIRC) they've created another clones that looked almost exactly like a PlayStation with a pretty similar PSX joypad, called... PolyStation.

Play'n'Trade sells SNES/NES clones (2 systems in one) but they will not work with SNES controller.

They go for 60-70 bucks.

Original SNES goes for 35 bucks alone, while NES cost 40 bucks.

I will have to get it trough eBay.

I will try the PSX version the next days. It's a bit different to the original game.

They're not the only SNES longplays I have up at the tube.

Yes, I know that, but those two for some reason I remember.

Alien 3 was different from Amiga/MegaDrive version. Anyone tried this one?

Another note : I think Contra 3/Super Probotector was one of the first games that got really modified for the european market. I played SP first and when I saw Contra 3 I knew I was living in the wrong country

A lot of C64 games were different for EU-USA market. Retrogamer had good article about this.

On the other hand, MegaDrive version of Aladdin was better then SNES version. (as mentioned in other thread)

It is a mag, so no link that I know about.

Wasn't PSX result from Nintendo-$0ny cooperation.
