masters of doom - the book

An awesome book about ID Software in the days of John Carmack and John Romero, talking about the development behind games such as Commander Keen, Wolf3d, Doom and Quake. A good read for all us retro gamers!

(for those not willing to fork over the cash for this book, there is an ebook version available through emule / kad. Haven't found a torrent yet).

Thank you very much gimbal!
I'm not really collecting stuff from or about id, but I have quite a lot. Would like to read how they came up with the idea for Wolfenstein 3D. I read some stories about the development of Doom, Quake and the Quake 3 engine.
It's a sure buy for next month, since my budget this month is exhausted...
