My vote reflects the fact I played it far more than any of the mario games, which I tired of quickly!
Great Giana Sisters is just ONE nice game, Mario is an endless series. I got bored of Mario!!!

I would have to play Giana Sisters someday, everybody likes it but it's very difficult that I like more Giana Sister than Super Mario Bros for some reason it's the videogame more sold of all the history.

I love it on C64, now I've tried it on Amiga using the very same joystick and it "feels" nowhere near as good...

The amount of those Super Mario Bros clones is almost infinite, that in particular seems very difficult but I like because level design is different to the original.

seems there is some kind of relation between one's opinion on Giana Sisters and presence of letter "H" in nick/name...

H8 for Giana!

to the guys favoring mario : honestly have you finished the game (giana i mean )without cheating ? really giana was quite a challenge back then and it took me some time to achieve it (this uncompleatable last level was really a great idea to improve game duration at low cost)...there were some tricky parts where you needed absolute perfection to complete a particular jump....i never felt as much challenged in terms of control precision playing super mario bros..its strongest points over giana were the speed and reactivity of the character but it quickly becomes repetitive and graphics and sound atmosphere are far behind....

No I haven't completed it. I don't tend to spend time completing games that I don't really enjoy playing that much

The reason I liked Mario wasn't because you ever needed absolute perfection to complete a jump either, that's the kind of thing that p*ssed me right off!

don't bother answering... i know you're definitely lost! deeply rooted to the "pure hardcore gamer" clone type...go back to your ps3 and stick to gta 3!and hurry up and complete it so that we can get the next pack soon!!
