uaectrl command line

Is there a way to use uaectrl with a command line, not with its interface ? That could be useful for scripting.

And if you know another way to do that, please share.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Groundhog,

I use the 'uae-configuration' prog to change WinUAE settings in amiga scripts. Works like a charm . You can change disks, CPU speed, sound buffer and so on.
Hope this helps.

P.S.
Here is a little example straight from a amiga script :

uae-configuration sound_max_buff 16384
uae-configuration cpu_speed max

Are you joking ? You can do that !!! Marvelous !

Thank you so much.

Still, I'm asking because I would like to insert floppies and soft-reset.

Right now, I'm using uaectrl with a redirection to a temporary file containing the commands sequence but it's a little tedious.

EDIT: Well, maybe you know another way to do a soft-reset in AmigaDOS ? Without a 3rd party prog I mean.

Perfect ! I can even disable JIT or enable cpu_cycle_exact. I'm sooo happy.

Thank you so much CyberDruid.

You're welcome Groundhog
And look what I found in my c directory (see attachment)
Guess now all your dreams come true
Edit : Hope this is small enough, so it doesn't count as an 3rd party tool
