Missing amiga games ?

Hi,

If i start the gamebase application i have only 2560 games available for playing.. allot games are still missing.

Seeing the "static" displayed on http://gbamiga.elowar.com/#Features
there should be ~4900 games available.

I have downloaded the rar packs from
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=23694

GameBase Amiga - Games (v1.0 for Database v1.2 or higher): 530 MBytes
GameBase Amiga - Games (Update v1.0 to v1.1 for Database v1.2 or higher): 441 MBytes
GameBase Amiga - Games (Update v1.1 to v1.2): 211 MBytes

I also downloaded the " Shrunked " updates from 1.2 to 1.5

Merged all the folders.

But only 2560 available in Gamebase fronted 1.2

My updated gamebase amiga games has a folder size of ~2.02GB (zipped)

Does someone know where to get the other ~2500 missing games ?

Or did i miss an archive ?

There are missing games because I've not added them yet

It takes a lot of time to check through the games, more playable adfs get added with every update.

Although between the current adfs, ipfs and whd's there isn't a great deal that isn't playable in at least one way now.

There are some well known games still missing ( at least i did play some of the missing games on the good old amiga years ago )

Btw do you know who created the "Shrunked" updates. ?

Some games are not zipped after running the .bat file.
( batch scrip for these games are uncomplete )


Do you want me to repost this msg to project.mage or do you have the permissions to move it into there ?

It will definitely get completed, but it will still probably be a couple of years yet.

eLowar created the shrunk updates, he's a bit busy with exams atm but he'll reply as soon as he can.

No need to repost this either, I can't move it but one of the global mods will move it later.

More details please. Which archive(s) and which games remain unzipped?

Edit: Hmm, yeah, the lines for those games are truncated. I'm not entirely sure how, but I think I probably broke them when I fixed that problem of the zip files containing absolute paths. Evil search and replace. Thanks for the report.
