Jazzing up my workbench

Currently working on Jazzing up my amiga Workbench. I currently have a Amiga1200T with a Apollo 1260 with 64mb installed and 3.1 roms and OS 3.5 Installed.

Hoping to get mediator soon but currently still using AGA at present.

Hoping to use Ken's Icons set and mess with MP3 new backdrops fonts colour schemes etc.

But not real sure where to start.

Any help would be appricated.

Thanks Paradroid

Personally I think using nice image for backdrop plus birdie with a nice pattern makes a very good looking workbench

Here is a snapshot of mine, its nothing too special but I like it

FBlit is an absolute must when using WB like this on AGA.

If you are getting a graphics card, try AfAOS. It will allow you to use Kens Window themes as well as his icons, plus AA fonts.

DOpus Magellan 5.82 is almost mandatory for improving WB, as is MCP.

Thanks for the tips so far. Do any of you have screen grabs of your workbenches and maybe a brief discription on how it was done and what programs were used!!!

The more ideas the the better!

Thanks again

From the Paradroid!

I'm sure there are many more threads floating around, but here's 2 from a quick search

... What does your REAL Amiga WB look like?
... What are your favourite Workbench hacks?
