I've written two mails to the support girlies of Konami UK/Germany. I'm pretty sure they never heard about an Amiga 500 machine... but who knows.

@mgman1, oooh those charlatan blasphemers! How dare they question the mythical beast of Amiga Contra!!!

It isnt the game that people get riled up about, it is your pseudo religious fanatism and refusal to see the point of vastly experienced people that gets my goat...

Add my name to the list of mockers!

THIS THREAD ADDS NOTHING TO THE PREVIOUS THREAD.

Thanks for the note. I am sorry to say that I am unable to help you on this matter, I will ask around the company to see if anyone can help but to be honest I am unsure if anyone can remember back that far!!!

If I can find some information I will be in touch ASAP however please note that I am away on a business trip all next week.

I never said you didn't believe it (or the whole CPC world). I mean the majority of people who know the CPC. BTW, is that the 1-level version, which has the first base stage?

@DDNI: I never referred to Amiga's Contra as the game people mock. I was referring to Contra games in general. Should I add you to the list of mockers who mock Contra in general or Contra Amiga or my beliefs? So, you really didn't need to bring that up. As for this thread not adding more to the previous thread, which thread are you talking about? Compared to my previous thread, I managed to recover that in-game screenshot. If you read through my previous thread carefully, you'd know that at that time, I didn't have it.

I have in my collection, every game ever produced for every computer, console, hand-held as well as every game that was conceived and thought about since before time began and for all time hence.

That should be proof enough I think

Yes. It came with Combat School.

I just wanted to say the Gryzor demo isn“t rare at all.

Mgman why have you re-registered when you have been banned indefinately.. and you had the cheek to re-register with the same name (mgman --> mgman1)

I will give you the opportunity to plead your case as to why I shouldn't ban this account, considering the abuse, shit and flaming you caused before because you couldn't convince anyone as to the existence of this game!

@Bippym: What did you do to solve the other problem this board faced back then? If you're unfamiliar, go check your email inbox (yourname@abime.net if you forgot) and look at my recent emails.

EDIT: Rare or not, many CPC users didn't know about it.

I have read all your emails and I chose to ignore them because you simply cannot accept that this game does not exist and I really am sick and tired of dealing with you.!

I will not tolerate you slagging off any moderators of this board, like you have done constantly in email to me!

If this moderator doesn't receive a public apology, and neitrher do the other members of the EAB I will ban you and continue to ban you until you become bored!

Now you have 24hrs for the apology (PM and Public for moderator, public for eab & members!)

You make it appear as if my emails were that bad. If you read the emails carefully, you'd know that they didn't concern the "game that does not exist" but rather the blind and late judgement of you and the other moderators. When the people got really immature and consistently lamented me after I left, what did you guys do? You stood around blindly and when you felt the insults shot enough (yeah right), you decide "Ok! Let's lock up the topic and leave a post like 'Nothing to see here.' " without so much as punishing or warning anyone who went real far.

What does the apol. go out for? I should do so for the moderators and the EAB? Why? For the moderators because they stood around blindly and then locked the topic without doing any actual moderation? For the eab because of their constant lament and little done to them? What you're asking is to pretty much publicly kiss lots of ass just to stay in on the grounds of really stupid and wrong condemnation.
