For the short term yes. MiniMig's FPGA code can currently just do 50Hz. But it is just a matter of time (and a new .BIN file) before 60Hz will be supported.

Not true (at least with current MiniMig core). The VGA monitors HAVE to sync to 50Hz vertical refresh. That rules out a lot of LCD monitors.

Just to make sure. Is it possible to upgrade the core? If yes it opens a lot of possibilities, since a 400Kgate Spartan-3 could hold a lot of things (A PPC included).

Yes.

It wont hold a PPC.

It barely holds the OCS chipset + Scandoubler + Sigma Delta Modulator (85% full) and that doesn't include the external 68k CPU.

It appears that Vesalia and AmigaKit are both are selling the MiniMig with the PSU and SD card as extra's despite ACube claiming to be bundling a 1GByte one with them.

Is anyone working on supported games list?

That price is close to $250 without s&h. Crazy...

Due to the fact there are people out there who cannot co-operate on anything (ignorant a$$tunnels) there are two separate supported games lists.

The first was a Wiki one, made so could edit it to add new titles

http://www.opencircuits.com/Minimig_..._compatibility

And then some stoopid git decided he wanted to start his own non editable one and some mindless people have supported it:

http://www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/what_works.htm

Doesnt everyone realise that co-operation and user editable content is the future of the internet?

Not at the moment. There is more a push for more features... then bug hunt.

You thinking of helping out?

Does it make sense to build an on/off switch on the miniMig? It doesn't feel good to just pull the power cable out of it, just to turn it off... or am I being paranoïd?

Trying different games, when you come across a problem write it up on the aforementioned Wiki. Give some details.
