@Peter

No, I'm not a fan of the N64 I'm afraid. The only decent thing on it for me is Ocarina of Time.

It does creak a little especially when compared to something like the Dreamcast...

N64 controllers were a bit hit and miss and not having RGB output is a P*sser but I still hang on to mine for the sake of a few classics... if I was going to lose one of my consoles it would be a toss up between the N64 and the Gamecube.

It would be so much better with a decent picture though!!
NTSC versions of the N64 are able to output RGB I believe...?

Apart from the standard pc hardware:

Consoles: xbox360, ps3 (mainly used as bluray player though), wii
Oldschool computers: Several C64s, my old trusty a1200 (hacked into a standard pc tower - heavy use of a metal saw was involved). And my whole pride - a C65 (Dx-64) prototype. I don't even know if that still is in working condition as it resided in a dusty drawer for ages.

@Dastardly

You can pick up a cheap NTSC N64 and do the RGB mod if you are good with a soldering iron? The one I have is an early Jap import and has been RGB modded and i have an adapter so i can play all PAL/US games too

The XEGS is a fully functional Atari 8-bit computer, hence why I listed it under "Computers".

how is the emulation scene on the DS? i know Zetr0 has a psp with all sorts of machines emulated on it, some were indeed shite, but most looked OK?
really looking just to play a couple of miggy games in boreing places! lol
and my Blackberry storm doesn't seem to have Uae available for it, plus i dont think the miggy games are touch screen compatible!

The keyboard is required for some games, including carts, and was actually bundled with the system (at least in the US). You only need a keyboard for the CD32 if you're going to use it as a computer; all CD32 games don't use it, IIRC.

This is nothing compared to my ultimate setup four years ago, where I went mad and had 21 unique systems and 650+ unique games.

Now?

Amiga A500 (1MB Chip ram)
Commodore 64C
Atari 600XL (handmade 64K RAM upgrade)
Sega CDX (Wondermega for the EU types )
Sony PSX 1st run model
Odyssey 2

I'd kill for an A600. If any british folk want to sell one cheap plus international shipping let me know!

I thought people would kill for an A4000, maybe an A1200, but for an A600 they hardly throw a stick at ya Any special reason you fancy a A600 (except for the size)?
