Is it legal to do EAB meetings in USA?

Yes I am in NY, but Jmmijo is a fat fuck, and Lubbock, TX has BBQs galore.

Let me know where and when so I can show up to lurk.

You'll never recognize me in my huge afro and tight Jordache jeans stuffed with pillows.

I wanna lurk too! As a native Texan, I'll gladly take any excuse I can find to take a trip back home. The Texas BBQ is pretty much reason alone, though the folks here in Kansas City seem to think theirs is the best there is. Not bad, but it doesn't quite live up to the BBQ I grew up eating.

Texas BBQ and the Big Meet

This whole thread reminds me of that Doors song The Wasp (Texas Radio and the Big Beat). It should definitely be our theme song for this vaporware meet up. Lyrics go something like this if I remember:
Quote:
I wanna tell you about Texas BBQ and the Big Meet
Fred comes out of the New York swamps
Cool and slow with plenty of precision
With a back side narrow and hard to penetrate

Some call jmmijo heavy in his one-piece
Others, lean with a handful of Unknown_K the Western dream
I love the friends I have gathered together on this thin raft of Amiga disks
We have constructed beer can pyramids in honor of our escaping Ian's advances
This is the land where the Twistin' Ghost died

I still can't stop laughing at the meanness of DPaints's song

Cuck, Deeps, we need to meet up and trade stories of our hatred for the Atari ST, Ian , and especially loathing of puffed Cheetos vs crunchy Cheetos.

God, I HATE puffed Cheetos.

Ohio is more logical, since it is centrally located.

We at least do speak English here, though we've chosen to eliminate some of the extras such as the letter "u" in the word "color". KC is actually a bit more centrally located than Ohio, but it's close. Not sure if they're into BBQ in Ohio or not, but I bet someone here would know.
