LuSpace frontend problem

i want to give a try to this frontend, only i think it works solely with the dats it downloads from its server, so, it don't aknowledges sets of roms named with a different dat.

correct?

for instance, a goodgba set, named like "nnnn-Name of the Game" it is not used by the frontend which prefers a tosec DAT for that emulation.
since i do not want to rename my collectio, nor i want to rebuild it, is there a different way that i don't seem to have seen?

Unfortunately I believe that is correct

Hmmm, it's probably quicker to rebuild in all honesty...

I guess the only other way to do it is manually edit the names in the .data file which would take you ages

@Marco; I have an idea that might just work

PM me when you're online and then we can discuss on IRC or something...

Edit: after playing around a bit, it seems that it's just too much of a task doing it the way I was thinking

no problem Damien, since in LuSpace i had just set that emulation, if it doesn't work it's not a big loss, i'll use a different frontend. sadly there are no more updated DAT for Gamefront (correct name?). is there a different program that i could use that will not rename the sets?

Maybe this thread will give you some ideas about what else you could use: Good menus/frontends.
