That is because you can't comprehend or deal with the immersive gameplay, the tactical abilities and the lack of ghay magic

No, its because i have friends and need 2-player

My game FOR LIFE would be Frontier: Elite II. Despite the game being a bit too easy, the sheer vastness of its universe is unparallelled and would keep me exploring on and on...

your only saying that because elite on the spectrum wasn't as good as the commodore 64... which in turn was no where near as good as the acorn... but hey!

its the pretty poly's isn't it.... don't fight it.... tell the truth.... you will keep you official "Geek Chic"-dom title.... i promise.....

i claim no expertise, as i never tried the speccy version properly. I'm sure some of the more elite-savvy users of worldofspectrum.org might disagree however! (i was under the impression c64 elite had to be "hacked" before it was as good as the speccy version, ?)

its the ease-of-play i prefer. otherwise i'd be saying first encounters! (which i tried once, and just thought it seemed like frontier with textures, more bugs and crappy home-video-style comm's graphics!)

i wouldnt say no to a hacked amiga frontier with textures however.....

On the C64:

Bards Tale III
Elite
Mercenary

Amiga

A big Hard drive with all the games in WHDLoad format? Oh, can't have that? Frontier then...

And I'd like time to play the Acorn version of Elite, heck maybe I could even work out how to use the mouse to control it!

Well, my one of my son's is named Phoenix so I would have to take that (arcade). I couldn't get my wife to agree to the name Flynn Taggart (main char from Doom) lol

If I could only play one game for the rest of my life it would definitely be Total Chaos. It is an absolutely fine game.
