He tries to download as much pr0n in every 24-hour period as possible. However, this is limited by available HD space and bandwidth. Bandwidth and HD space can be increased but are limited to total income. Income is increased by not playing the game. It is a classic resource management game/simulation.

Wife/children can drain bandwidth and lower one's score but this problem can be fixed with a shotgun. But the shotgun takes money away from the hard drive budget so one must carefully consider if this is the best move. Using a kitchen utensil is free but messy, incurring substantial cleanup costs.

Funny that no one has mentioned this, but Operation Flashpoint (or Arma) on PC seems to be it for me. I've never ever in my life spent so many hours with a single game as this even if it's 6 years old.

Probably Quake 3 Arena for me. I just can't help but feel that it could last me a lifetime, if I needed it too.

It would be a toss up between Medieval 2 - Total War and Silent Hunter IV.

I have all of the Total War games and expansions and also have all of the Silent Hunter games. Silent Service 2 was one of my favorite games years ago and when I found the first Silent Hunter, I was as happy as a pig in shit, and have been playing them ever since.

I don't play many new games, because 99% of them have no replay value, but these two series are ones that I find myself always going back to. Enemy Territory is the only other 'modern' game I play regularly.

I am patiently waiting for a new Total War with even larger armies, the battles are good, but I want to control tens of thousands of men on the field, and have battles that can last for days on end.

might be a good idea to pick Frontier, but i'd more likely be boring and plump with SWOS.

However, if i could edit -all- the data in Bloodwych i'd pick that, since the onyl thing stopping me picking it is how well i know the dungeons.

actually... maybe i'll pick the Amiga version of Wonderboy in Monsterland.....

Speccy; i'd prob pick Gauntlet, although theres loads of "close contenders" - JSW, Horace &The Spiders, Dan Dare, SkoolDaze.

C64; Way of the Exploding Fist.

Game Boy; Kirby's Pinball Land

Mega Drive; Out Run

I'm flying to Rome on Thursday to participate in the Kick Off 2 world cup.

I hope that answers your question.

I think this thread should be renamed 'Desert Island games'

Lots to choose from and after much thought, I think I would choose the arcade version of Track and Field.

Simple but satisfying!

On the Amiga it would be Cannon Fodder - I love that game so much

Arcade it would be Bubble Bobble or Dragon Ninja.
