Help Needed - Speedball 2 CD32 Version
I've been using Winuae for around three months now. I've got most of it sussed out, but I'm wondering if somebody can clear something up for me.
I've found a couple of .adf files for the CD32 version of Speedball 2 floating around on the internet. From what I understand, when emulating the CD32 you can't actually use these file types (I've had some success running these files under an A1200 configuration, but the game doesn't quite seem to run 100% correctly). So, my first question is, why would CD32 games come in the .adf format? And finally, if I'm allowed to ask this question: can somebody point me in the direction of a CD32 iso for Speedball 2? (To clarify, I've actually found a number of proper CD32 iso files and have successfully run them using virtual cd drive software, so I understand how to run the files once I get my hands on them.) Cheers. |

Apologies to the Moderators in advance if I'm not allowed to do this, but...
I've got an image file taken from my original Speedball 2 CD32 disc, which is in the format used by Alcohol 52%/120% and Daemon Tools (.MDS, I think). I'm at work now, and can't remember the file size, but it's a good few hundred MB (because of the CD audio files). If somebody can provide me with a place to upload it, then I'll upload a zipped copy tonight. Steve. |

Just got home.
It's 421MB, which zips down to 379MB. Steve. |

Maybe try to compress it with 7-zip (7-zip.org).

Hi Steve, welcome to EAB.
Speedball 2 CD32 can actually be downloaded from the net quite easily, it's just I'm not allowed to give the link to the site because it holds other files (IPF files) that we can't link to/share on EAB. I wouldn't worry about uploading it, if anyone needs Speedball 2 CD32 they can download it from the site I can't mention! ![]()

Thanks for the welcome. OK, I'll try furiously Googling for the iso. Perhaps as an alternative, you might PM something to me... ![]() |
