Neverwinter nights 2, that bores me to no end but it's relatively speaking a light game, not much time consuming. i will ditch it as soon as i have a little more time, i want to get back at amiga gaming, with platforms and all.
though i look fwd to try The Witcher.

yeah it's prolly like you say but i'm tired of games that mix the meaning of "depth" with "heavy and huge ruleset to make uber characters" and "tons of silly sidequests all alike where we bitch you in to say how good we are because we provided you two different ways to enter Blacklake... etc"

that half assed of a game of dark messiah of might an magic, at least tricked you in believing you were in a rpg, and gave you a bit of drama and tension (like to run on the housetops of the town trying to catch that monster early in the game) while the neverwinter games or the baldur games have the tension f a broken elastic.

Bubble Bobble has more role to it!

edit. i think really now that i have not played a single rpg on computer that as a rpg was worth something. i played a bit the paper and dices ones when i was a kid and while the thing did not sticked to me, they were really fun and cool and roley. every rpg on computer is a failed amiga arcade game i think.

I'd wish to share your positive opinion about the game Marco, really.
But I do hope you'll check out the books after that!
... and the movie even, with the "anorectic killer scream" and gobly-bobbly-gummi monsters...

also playing any ZX Spectrum game i can find with less than 3 colours on the entire screen, prefereably including the border colour.

Damn, I've played nothing on me Amiga since a couple of moths now...
I'm planning to find some free time to play Skweek & Bubble Bobble, and Space Hulk maybe...
A couple of rounds of Suzuki Bakuhatsu (check youtube ) on the PSX, and a whole bunch of titles on the PC side:

Ironic that Exploding Fist is about the only game i prefer on the C64, but for one reason alone. not for the "better" (read: blocky) graphics, but of course....

the music!!

if only there had been a 128k version with AY3 music

all this in-spite of the game being progammed on the speccy by Horace creator William Tang too.

to be fair the gameplay for once is ok on the C64 version.... you cant say that of say... Cybernoid!

try the speccy version, its a gem

hell though, dunno why i picked Cybernoid as an example (perhaps becuase of the lack of any kind of actual collision detection??) , i could have just as easily have said Horace Goes Skiing, or countless others!

i do seem to be in a minority though that actually thinks Amiga Cybernoid also kicks arse however.

Try the C-64 SID rips of Cybernoid 1 & 2, much better than the ZX & CPC music.

i especiially dont rate Jereon Tel's music for Cybernoid 1, its pretty ordinary. The AY3 music is much better if you ask me. i would assume the CPC has the same as the speccy, though i dont know for sure.
