I stick around because of the content, plenty of people here know their hardware and software and are helpfull to those that ask about it.

i think it goes without saying i love this site, even if i do worry that a few certain members are less-than-appriciative of my vocal-comments and sense of humour! (i guess its hard to gauge tone-of-voice in forum posts!)

there are a lot of the people involved in the parts of the amiga community i love the most who tend to reside here.... and they dont treat you like a ****. Which is just spiffing if you ask me good sirs!

So far I have found this site to be rather accomodating and very informative.

If my n00b Qs haven't been answered directly and satisfactorily, I have been able, through the various threads in the forum, to find exactly the solution I was looking for.

I would like to thank Retro-Nerd, Graham Humphrey and eLowar for their friendliness. (I probably forgot some others, so I apologise).

The link I found most helpful was this one: http://guide.abime.net/home3.htm

I also appreciate this site http://www.whdownload.com/games.php?name=%&sort=0&dir=0 , and have downloaded some games from it, but have not registered (yet). I like it because it seems unbloated, unlike http://www.planetemu.net/ .

I have yet to encounter a problem in my Amiga that hasn't been solved by EAB members, sometimes within MINUTES. What more could one ask for? I don't know what I'd do if it wasn't for you guys. My only complaints are:

-I used to think of myself as an Amiga connoisseur, after joining this forum I feel like an ignorant
-Almost nobody here plays Kick Off!

This thread is far too homosexual. Did Fred put you up to it?

Now now PJ; a thread of love doesn't mean everyone is going to turn into promiscuous animals.

Open yourself up to EAB. Feel the love, not the sausages, in this thread.

I'm not convinced. There's still a definite stench of 'man love' in the air...
