HOL is for real amiga freaks, like us EAB's. There are a lot of infos, reviews, HD install links etc. Avoid it, if you don't like it.

You can find a lot of games on this sites:

thanks Retro-NErd, that shooter's not too bad, though the mouse is a little laggy...might have something to do with the realism of flight, but it does seem occassionally inconsistent.

It's a decent blaster, though, but of course not of the calibre of Apidya etc. If you can think of any side or vert scrollers like that (Batt Squad), that'd be cool!

From memory, the shooters I enjoyed years ago were the following:

Agony
Xenon 2: Megablast
Xenon
Apidya
Banshee
Silkworm
SWIV
Walker
Forgotten Worlds
Blood Money
R-type
Turrican
Turrican 2
Turrican 3
Chaos Engine

Can you perhaps add to this list, refreshing my memory? (these are all joystick, IIRC)

Oh, and anyone else with knowledge on this subject, please interject!

Mmh, you should try this ones too:

Hybris
Project X
Z-Out
X-Out
Disposable Hero
Mega Typhoon
Wings of Death

And that's why you should use HOL:

Just been playing Grid Runner, another mouse-controlled shooter (Minter, Llamas etc). I must admit though that the ST version is far superior.
