Are you missing a few? or a lot? I believe I have them all (but as allways, not so organized). So I may help you filling some gaps.

You know, Hang Loose ( http://www.atari-warez.com/ )seems to have them all, including Superios CDs. But their files are not readly available as before. There is a note on their site wich says:

File Area News
20-April-2002 Check out telnet:\\bbs.atari-warez.com for an ftp account first..

Jeez, what a bunch of compilation freaks. Thank God the Amiga isn't so obsessed with compacts (or "menu disks") ... that would way suck!

Anyhow, nice sites.

@fissuras
that Hang Loose page is pretty cool, but damn are those tables hard to read! (in the Files area!) And yet another site that has no trace of Infocom's Border Zone. Talk about a near impossible-to-find ST game! I think I have found it for every platform (that it was developed for) except for the ST. I guess none of the sceners could be bothered with that game...

I have searched for that hgame as well Twist, to no avail.
Fiss...you did a great deed, and I thank you. Though EmuChina is back up, The lesser known compilations are found at good ol Climatics
Here is an even better site to find rareties..good luck twist. I have yet to try em all

http://brumemscl.free.fr/

One thing though..what is "telenet"??
News group stuff?

It's actually spelled telnet it's not usenet stuff perse', it's the old school terminal shell, mostly this is a *nix term now although when you think of it any machine with an old terminal app can use telnet although most ISP's no longer allow shell access due to security reasons and the now infamous script kiddies that seem to be crawling out of the wood work :laugh

It is more like old BBS stuff.

To get access to their ftp, you have to log using telnet first, and then create an account. Pretty easy, just copy and paste the address (telnet:\\bbs.atari-warez.com) on your browser (I mean, if you use IE) and follow instructions. You will be asked for a new login and password. Use this new login to enter their ftp (ftp.atari-warez.com).
pretty easy, huh?

Strange.
Try using the telnet program, in your windows directory. There should be an program named TELNET.EXE. Just run it and type the address (bbs.atari-...)

Got it working on the FTP. But why did they complicate it with having to use Telnet? Oh well, can't complain, Fiss. I thank you again and hope to reciprocate.

I guess if you're serious enough to go thru the telnet hoop then you must really want a logon user/pw

Oh, no

Suddenly it seems that atari-warez got popular! I can't connect to it anymore. It was so easy... I can't think of any reason why it happened....
Anyway, that's life isn't it?

One of my favorite French phrases:

"cest la vie"

of course I murder it by pronouncing it in the literal, phonetic way
