Can't get more than 31200 bps on WB serial prefs

Hello i'm wondering why i have read on various sources that the amiga 1200 serial port can handle up to 115200 bps but i can't move the slider more than 31200, in fact it its the max i can get. Is a serial.device replacement for achieving this?
Thanks in advance!!!
