Ebay as a whole is getting a bit silly again, A1200 Indi AGA sold £205 last week

I guess someone really wants an A4k in a box lol

It does look nice though and its got the 040, oh and a well presented ad with lots of pics goes a long way

Wonder what 16bit Soundcard it has? Don't see a pic but thats sure to add up.

@DonAmiga,

A4000's are a bit harder to get hold of these days, paitence and Amibay(or here) is the best way to go or if you are prepared to drive a few miles look at collection only options.

Steve.

maybe the two(or more) people fighting for it are very rich, and £500 to them is like toilet paper

dunno, if I were to buy another 4000 again I wouldn't pay more than £80 for one. I love Amiga but the A4000 is such a let down /groan /mumble /shenanigans

The painful thing is that the 4000 will need its capacitors replaced in the audio and have a fix-up in general for the battery leak... It does genuinely look mint in box, so perhaps it might go for what they went for 20 years ago???

How rare is this cos its bloody pricey! Looks like a very unusual box design though. Looks like a landmine!

i dont care how rare it is or if its worth a fortune i wouldnt buy simply because i wouldnt spend that much on an amiga game plus the fact that he states

Quote:
This game is sold as seen and is not tested. If you would like me to test it please send me an email and i will test it asap and let you know the outcome.
If he has the ability to test it for that price he should.
Sounds fishy to me.

I think its shocking that he sells everything untested.

I don't mind taking a chance on a game around £5 but to sell games at the prices they charge is madness.

Yes, testing goes without saying at that price. Silly.

This is the sellers response:

If he just tested the games in the first place and confirmed that they worked he'd probably see a lot more interest and higher bids, it kind of makes me suspicious when items are being sold untested like that with no returns accepted because they are likely to be knowingly faulty.

I asked him to test the game for me and he replied saying he had tested it and it worked as far as the protection screen where it asks for a code from the supplied codewheel. He didn't test any further and assured me the game 'works'. Well I'm convinced. lol.

Faulty CSPPC on ebay

Just spotted this on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FAULTY-AMIGA-C...item4cf55c6a07

The description states it's faulty, and from the photo, looks like one or two of the capacitors have been partially crushed (!). I am not related to the seller or auction in any way.

Could be usefull to someone here.

That was quick, it looks like it's gone.

Hi! Isn't this illegal? Apparently this ebay user is selling Amiga software. He should have his ebay account suspended.
