Found the programmer...but still a hitch

I have managed to find the original programmer of an amiga application I have been looking all over for called Esq-apade. (a synthesizer editor). He has just replyed my email....However there is a problem. this is what he wrote

"the applications were all compiled with copy protection included, so they will only run with a special floppy inserted in the drive. Also, though I have the master (floppy) disks, I don't have a simple way of copying them. It would be an interesting project to break out the old Amiga and recompile those programs free of copy protection, but that is much easier said than done."

Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be best thing to advise him to do?

Thanks

or you could ask for the source code, or see if he's interested in using WinUAE to to the programming.
