The Text dir of Aminet (http://ftp.plig.org/~aminet/dirs/tree_text.html) contains a whole load of fonts, although they don't usually have separate preview images so you'll have to download them and hope they're what you want.

i've upload some "classic" bitmap fonts i've ripped a looooong time ago + some from Paradogs site.

BTW if you planned to make an intro on amiga with them, don't forget to upload it into The Zone

If you have the first 17-Bit CD, there's a disk of iff bitmap fonts (not to be confused with AmigaDOS bitmap fonts) that is very good. Lots of scene fonts with the funny T's, plus the Xenon font and much more. If I had my CD here, I'd upload the disk for you.

Thanks already, Frog (and thinlega for reminding me I wanted this type of stuff too). Twistin', do you have that CD handy somewhere?

By the way, is there some application somewhere that would allow you to type out your phrases, convert them to the font and then save it our in an .iff or whatever file?

I remember coding such a thing - for my own use - back in my AMOS and later in my asm days - the asm app being very rudimentary, heh.

At Paradox site there is a link to a file containing 328 fonts (gif/iff/lbm) for your intro/demo, from various artists...

Here is the link.

http://dev.paradogs.com/bin/sources/fonts.zip

***** OOOPS it's now in the zone *******

Anyway, check Paradox's site for more cool stuff

You're a scholar and a gentleman. I originally missed this post. I see that the file name suffix is lbm, I'll have to add a new supported suffix to my IFF plugin for Paint.NET

Nice link, Frog!

The two threads overlap too much, timewise, to merge them.

Your link provides the best solution. Thanks.
