That was the A1200 that I bought at the time.... had to send it back to the factory to sort out the floppy drive.

But it did...shockingly enough... come with games etc.

Without the games... well maybe it's a limited edition??

maybe the games would have been packaged separately? This guy may just have never got them when he acquired the amiga?

Out of interest Mr Amigakit, those you are selling do they have the disk drive problems that the Amiga Technologies A1200's are renowned for??? Or have they been amended to work properly?

The AT A1200's did definitely have them probs, there was a cludge because it was fixed on my A1200(as mentioned above) and it is out there in googleland, just not found it (being both lazy and full of beer). I also remember it was also a hardware hack that could be found on Aminet (which I've tried to source but again.. see beer comment)

cant believe you're selling them still for 155 quid... rip-off!

I mean at least add a hard drive and accellerator for the price!

If you can opt for more, you should buy from elsewhere.

Thank you for still selling the stuff, amigakit
Thanks for providing warranty.

Thanks for supporting my beloved computer.

Thanks for everything.

If my amiga breaks, you'll be the first to know.

The eBay ad looks like the usual -- someone got an Amiga, played it for years, lost the game disks, put the hardware back in the box and now flogs it as new.

First post here, so be gentle guys

I got one of the very first A1200s for Christmas (1992?) and all you got for your £399.99 (iirc...it was a while ago!) was the Amiga itself, with Workbench and a few other system disks. That was it....

They bought the packs out shortly after (how convenient!), but that's the price you pay for being an early adopter I guess.

Didn't worry me as I had all the software from my A500 days, although I remember being extremely annoyed when Bombuzal didn't work properly.

The only thing I can think of with this eBay ad is that the guy doesn't have a camera and used someone else's pic, which just happened to show the Magic Pack.

Still doesn't make it "new" though....
