Crash with 1.4.1 + improvement wish

Hello

I experiment a systematic crash of winuae 1.4.1 while saving my configuration.

Plus, I feel unconfortable with the configuration system : there is one "main" configuration plus 2 sub-categories (hard and host), but the link between all this is really unclear. The "link" function on the configuration screen is weird, since a complete configuration includes hard + host, not either one or the other ...

This crash? (happens if you have chipset extra set to some higher end models)

Yes it looks like that.

Problem is that it even destroy the file ! Hopefylly there is a backup.

That said, I stil dont really understand the configuration system and logical relationship between global / hard / host

Full config is always written.

During loading config_hardware and config_host fields are checked. Both set = load full config, host=false = only hardware, hardware=false = only host.
