A real champ need no eyes to catch a little fly. Even the few Scanlines can't stop him.

Always stayed away from the tv - yes, more than 20cm
Always used PAL - well, where possible
Always had a blurry TV - yes, always

After that I got a high quality C1084S monitor and adjusted the view to something one would call "pan-o'-rama" these days

And why you post in this thread? We are talking about scanlines in WinUAE, a real amiga doesn't have them.

Ah there we go

All these people who voted yes for scanlines either had a TV the size of a bus or sat 4cm from it

Because the whole point of your guys argument FOR scanlines was to replicate what you used to experience when you played your real Amiga.

If you had scanlines on your TV which were that visible you either had a TV the size of a bus or you sat 4cm from the screen

No scanlines.

I'm assuming you're talking about scanline emulation now. It looks awful.. If you want to see scanlines, use the real thing. :-)

But that's the point. Toni could implement a better "real scanline" option, with a brightness/intesity slider, but he won't. I wonder why he build in this ugly, useless D3D filters, which deformes the whole image output. THIS is a real crime.
