Which FTPs are still active nowadays?

It seems a varying amount of different Amiga-related FTPs have gone in and out of service throughout the years, mostly in a arbitrary and random manner.

I was just thinking, would it be possible to use a sticky thread to list all currently known FTPs for convenience of all newcomers and quick info seekers, and list out details such as how often it's online for, which time range it can be accessed during, things like that etc.

I'll leave it to you lot to discuss though!

I could start running Amiga-ftp if people would be volunteering in uploading stuff? Im running server on 10Mbps/10Mbps connection in server-room.
I could buy ~70GB HD for it during summer. (SCSI)
Maybe Amigademoscene-ftp?

Go for it -get one up and I'll see what I can upload, someone will need to delete the stuff that should not be on there if you know what I mean.

Okay guys - I didn't start to run my own demoscene-ftp, instead I started to run ftp.amigascne.org mirror-ftp:
ftp.fi.amigascne.org.

I guess the most important one is ftp://ftp.back2roots.org/ as you can find the hole back2roots Amiga game archive there as well as all the Fred Fish disk and a number of other PC disk collections and demos.

If you look in pub/back2roots/files/games you will find all the games that used to be linked from the back2root web site.

All the files are their the problem is that most ftp server default to only showing the first 2000 entry's in a list command to try and stop denial of service attacks and other nasty behaviour.

I am still trying to workout the best way around this problem, but hopefully the ftp servers config will be updated to allow us to see all the files in the directory.
