I know I can`t ask for the game, because it`s still being sold, but for the life of me I can`t download the demo, anyone have it?? it`s 1.8mb and I`ve been everywhere and all the links are bad

anyone help please??

I think I have that somewhere, but if I remember correctly then it is ~8MB !
I think I downloaded it from the publisher's site - maybe you can still find it there ?
If you cannot find it then I will have a look and maybe zip it into smaller parts or something like that and put it in the zone.

Hi!

It *might* be useful to mention that this game was on a CU Amiga cover disk, and it was the coverdisk of the FINAL ISSUE of CU Amiga. Read this: http://www.u-net.com/cuamiga/cont/finalissue.html

This one (i. e. its coverdisk) seems quite rare, because I can only find disks up to #134 on "public rom dumps", as I call them.

If someone has it, could he/she upload it?
It's still NON-TOSEC, as far as I know.

It`s not on Aminet , and the only links I found said it was 1.8mb

and I still can`t find it

Ok, I had a look now. I have 3 Wasted Dreams:

1) The 1.8MB Demo you are searching for.
2) a 8MB big file called WD.LHA - no idea what it is - maybe a rip ?
3) 36 files which are over 70MB totally - I suppose this is the cracked fullversion.
I never played this game because my A-500 doesn't have no HD and I don't want to play it in an emu

Btw. I think it needs at least 2MB ram, maybe even 3MB....

I will put the 1.8MB demo in the zone

I have the cover CD with me here in the office and i think that the wasted dreams demo was only published on the CD (as the directory is uncompressed and about 12 Mb).

On the same CD is also a DMS of Putty Squad (demo i guess).

Having searched a little inside the CD, i believe that the last number came CD only because there aren't copies of coverdisks DMSs in it; however i will be able to confirm this tomorrow after checking my copy of the mag at home.

Now if anybody needs something from the CD, just ask for it and i'll upload it to the zone.

The last number of CU was available with disks too, which contained Cinema4D full version (available on the CD too and with extras).

The PuttySquad DMS is a last minute addition to the CD that arrived too late to be tested and was just added to it, and being that the last number it was a "try and see if it works" thing.
