It is much better than the last version I tried, much faster and smoother.

Code:
  ____________________________________________________________________________
 | OS | CPU | GPU | RAM |
  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
 | XP | Intel Pentium IV 2.4GHz | NVidia GeForce 2 MX400 32Mo | 1024 DDR |
  ____________________________________________________________________________
I did notice one minor thing which the remake lacks, when you jump on leaves in the original game, they move up and down in a spring like motion.

Not really worth mentioning.

Thank you guys !

Ho yes, lol, my father mentioned it too

Ok, it is on the v2.0 list

I'm already working on the v2.0 ...
All i can say, is that the Level Editor knows several changes.
Everything can be done by using only the mouse, very simple !
Examples: Right Click > Select Tile
Left Click > Build Selected Tile
Right Click under a selected Tile > Proprieties ( you can Swap two Tiles, Delete ... )

The same for monsters ( Increase / Dec moving range, moving type ( up-down, right-left, turning .... )

But, this future version is under construction, and seems to be quite long :/
See you next year for this one

Just one slight problem: on the Lionheart Remake, when I play the Introduction, it gets to the second scene where it zooms into the chest, once the zoom is complete the game crashes with this error:

Runtime Error 314 - Sprite alpha value illegal at line 3942

Hope the helps. Really enjoying the game like I said!

Ok, now i'm ready to write here some future new feature ( for Enhanced version )

- New resolutions ( 320*240, 640*480, 1152*864, 1280*960 ) for fullscreen mode

- Filter mode ( for people which prefere filtered pixels ... )

- Very very very ... very fast gamecore ( now, under my PC, 1300+ instead of 520 fps ! )

- New AI for monsters ( now they can jump )

- Multiplayer ( Deathmatch, Capture the Flag ... and i hope to make server list using mySQL )

- Zoom ( only available from 640*480 ) ( imagine you can zoom back if you prefere to have a smaller view ... combined with Filter Mode, you will never find a pixel !)

- Gameplay completely rewrote ( smoother )

- More colors ( altime about 150 - 220 colors in Evolved version ... now, more than 280 ... like the Amiga ) ( unsing my own Rasters Bar, like if you got something like the Copper ... ok ok, i'm dreaming )

- New Level Editor ( easier, build your map using only your mouse )

- A full tutorial showing how to use the Level Editor ( *.PDF and why not a video ... )

Some things are already done ( like the resolutions ... the filter ... the gameplay ... ) but still a lot of to do !
So, this new ( and last i think ) future release ( Enhanced ) of Lionheart Remake is not for today !

See you later, i may post some news and perhaps ask for a little Beta Multiplayer-Test

If you have any suggestion, do not hesitate, i will listen to you !

And thank you for all of yours supports

I would've been very proud if I had made this, it's awesome!

Ah, Lion Heart!
The Memories!

I completed Lion Heart back in summer of 1994 (No cheating!) and what a graphic fest that was!
Incredible! Lion Heart is considered as the technical pinnacle of AMIGA gaming. It featured the most advanced graphics seen on the AMIGA 500.Hi-Res detailed graphics like this, were only dreamed of back in 1993 on the PC and 16-bit consoles of the time.
As it used a lot more than the basic 64Half-Bright colours the OCS/ECS chipset was capable of. The rainbow copper effects were amazing, especially the fire stage.

I still have some AMIGA Power / Format Mags with articles quoting that no other console adventure platform game of the time could match Lion Heart, especially in the graphics department.

The game had some of the most stunning looking Heroic Fantasy levels, which I had only read about in novels like Conan, Elrik, Lords of The Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, etc…
The Wastelands, the swamps, the spider infested caves, the forgotten city, the fiery caverns, the gravity defying citadel and especially the last Sorcerer Boss fight, were all some of the coolest and most memorable gaming moments!
The Sorcerer him self, reminded me of Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat, but in a more sinister & evil looking way. The fight it self was quite tough and took a few tries to overcome.

The ending was very epic & dramatic.
Valdyn’s sinister expression is so cool, when the king approaches in the background to greet & congratulate him on defeating his enemy, but Valdyn is like "Yeah right, get lost! I lost my girl in the struggle, so who cares about you old man?!” leaving him surprised cold in the great hall!

Then he discovers the secret powers of the talisman he had found in the lost caves and breaks the spell that had petrified his love.

A true masterpiece!

Today I tried Lion Heart Remake and all I can say is that I'm amazed!

I really don't know how this guy was able to pull this off on the PC, unless he had the source code!
There are a few sound-effects missing here and there and the 1st Boss is slightly easier than the AMIGA version, but overall this is an excellent remake!
There is even an extra Stage 1.5!

Lionheart remake uses MP3 for music playback, not mods (Sonic Arranger).

Yeah? It's been a while since I downloaded it.

Oooh, yeah it's now only 4.1Mbytes.

Does it play the mods directly? The files have the suffix .SC68, does that mean it uses the Amiga sound emulator SC68?

Yes, for sure.

It it just the original SA, + Player ( in 68000 ), compiled with the header of the SC68 player ... nothing more ( and a lot of time to understand how it works ......... )

"he have the copperlist and the module player code"
Not really the copperlist.
I've made a programm to simulate the copper effect, and try to make it as perfect as the original.

EDIT: Here a video: http://b3dgs.free.fr/lre_preview.mp4 ( look at the water )
