Floppy disk Amiga Coders Club (ACC) disks

Hi folks

A few years ago my cousin bought the Amiga Coders Club disks from a PD outfit (Amiganuts?) which gave you tonnes of assembler examples to demonstrate coding. At the time I only had a 120Mb HD so installed the examples and got rid of the archives. Now for various reasons I would like them back...

Does anybody have this set of disks? There were at least 4, maybe up to 20 but my cousin only had about 6-7 of them. Some of the later disks were optional and had stuff like example modules and replayers, vectorballs etc etc.

I would dearly love to have these back so if anyone thinks they have them, please upload to the zone!

Thanks!

Roll eyes (sarcastic)

I used to have some of those ACC disks; they were very good and were sold by Amiganuts who were based in Southampton, England. I bought them through a PD company in the Isle of Wight. I have searched google and dogpile looking for Amiganuts and even though there is a webpage they are not the same people.
I too would like to get hold of these disks. I will keep looking... (Does anyone know of any current Amiga assembler boards/groups etc?)

I'm bringing this ancient thread back alive because I'd dearly love it if someone could make the Amiga Coders Club disk images available again, so that I could check out my old work and maybe even get a lead or two on some old friends.

Pretty please?

As one of the people who used to actively contribute to the ACC disks (Mark Meany used to send them to me for free when I contributed), I would dearly love to get hold of these again. I may even have some of the disks hiding somewhere, but have no working Amiga to even use them if that's the case!

Please let us know when these images are once again available.

Thanks!

Neil.

Thanks. Big-Byte also sorted me out with what he had from the ACC collection. Now uploaded those to The Zone.

Would appreciate hearing from anybody who has any of the missing ones!

I've tried contacting the original founder (compiler/writer/editor) of the ACC disks - Mark Meany. I figured if anyone had the full set of disks it would be him.

5 seconds of detective work later.......

Googling that name bought up a website: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Bay/9520/ which suprisingly is a old VB games programming tutorial page by someone called Mark Meany.

On his about me page he does mention a history of programming 68k on the Amiga's, and that he is from the UK, and Southampton....so I am 99.999% certain this is our man.

Unfortunately his email doesn't work If anyone has ICQ he has a ICQ number on the site - I'm not gonna install that shitty ICQ rubbish !!

Recieved this response from Ray (ex-boss of Amiganuts):

If I get a response I 'will' let you know.

Sorry it's not better news,

All the very best,

Thanks anyway Ray, maybe just maybe we might have some luck with this.

Before anyone posts some gravedigger pics, this was done on request

A guy named 'Ko Ko' uploaded a lot of ACC disks to the file server (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633), which you can find in the folder 'Magazine Cover Disks and CDs/ACC-Preservation'. Hope that someone is still interested
