Amigas or Work???

To what effect does your Amiga passion impact on your work?

My Work laptop sits right beside my A1200T.
If I am not on EAB I am constantly interrupting my work to check out an amazing WHDload game....

Today, for the last 4 hours I have worked from home. In that time I have only put in 15 minutes of uninterrupted work!

Amigas are bad for my career!!!

In fact the Amiga was the main reason why my GCSE and A-Level grades were not what they should have been!!
If my Amiga had had an internet connection back in 1990 I am sure I would have failed all of my exams !!

F*ck ciggies, miggies need a health warning!!!

The first 2D graphics core I designed for Freeview box's was based on a mixture of the OCS graphics register set (Except -ve modulo never worked!) and a very old Atari arcade machine. It had 256 hardware sprites in 32-bit or 8-bit (with alpha) that could be any size upto 720x576

The hardware RAID 5 controller I just designed has a homemade uController in it and I got a lot of my inspiration for the instruction set from my 68k coding experience.

I'd say a lot! (But I think I am the exception!)

Is the secret folder called "generic folder for uninteresting work, nothing un-work related here, certainly nothing to play games on" ?

Not quite, it's called 'WinUAE' - but it's on a drive encrypted with Blowfish-448. So I guess my boss won't find it

I couldn't agree more If I didn't have to code all day at work I'd probably feel like doing more WHDLoad work Still, I feel I'm going to make an effort to do a few more demo installs soon and I've got my eyes set on a certain game install as well (if I can win the original from eBay!)....
