Nice video - I laughed at the ending: "Congratulations. You have freed yourself from the Shadow of the Beast". After ALL that you simply get a message, not even a video of some sort

Yeah, that's pretty lame! It's the same way in the Amiga original, though.

Shadow of the Beast 2 is slightly better... still just some text, pretty much the same as the first, but at least you get a nice tune as well in that one.

Longplay of Shadow of the Beast II for Atari ST: [ Show youtube player ] For some reason there is no sound in intro. Playfield is small, in-game music is generated and main hero have some problems with contrast. Speed of game is just like in most Amstrad CPC games. I don't know why there are no sound-fx as they could be generated, same as music.

The ST version of SOTB2 do have SFX... just not so many
