It makes me happy you all like it, although i can hardly take credit for much of it. Right hand side gfx are from a german website (lost the URl, i think these dock images are on Aminet), and the background is giger, the rest of the icons are glowicons, apart from the main game box stuff, which are Exoticons. I can sort of take credit for them, but they are generated from game box scans, so the original artists should really take it

Exoticons for OS3.5/3.9 and a smaller version as newicons are ofcourse available from exotica. 1500 icons for whdload/jst installed games. (and many of the whdload games already ship with exoticons). Please download and use them. No all the games are yet supported but its just a matter of time.

please do browse the rest of the site too. I guess many of you already know of my site ExoticA ? I have to apologise for lack of main news updates, although the UnExoticA section has been updated since the last main news.

Im replacing the guestbook with a phpBB forum, as it seems a better idea to cope with everyones wishes for help and comments and to discuss other issues. I hope it wil lbe of some use

Cheers!

Hi,

Quote:
Really nice collection oli_hd ! how many rooms for all your computer stuff ?
Well 90% of it is just in the one room, Along with my Sinclair collection and scrap PC`s (All totally gutted of harddrives and CD-Roms, Waiting for the skip)

My A4000 powerhouse is kept where I work (A backup computer for the company, Its kept in the front cabin of a boat).
I use it a lot (unfortunatly not for internet access, Its over 30 Meters from a phone socket and the PC wont let me network my Amiga to it
(Dead Intel ethernet card on the PC? 4 from a computer show)
Its mainly used for playing Doom, Quake and Payback on but also doubles up as a nice Video CD player (Its got a DVD but they are to expensive), Its going to get its PPC removed soon, Im working on the Amiga Coldfire project thing and next time the PPC blinks I will rip it out

The collection was ment to be much bigger but I can never find the cash when I need it, I really wanted that Amiga Nxy on auction a while back, I but in $450 and still didnt get it
I am one of those very sad Amiga people who just buy Amiga`s, Any Amiga`s.. I need help... No wait, changed my mind, I like it

Thanks for the welcome, Glad to be here

I still have :

1 A1200 - towered - Blizzard 060 - IDE HD - SCSI HD - 82 Mb - SCSI CD
1 A1200 - Blizzard 030 - 16 Mb

1 A1200 - 8Mb - HD - Sensi machine
1 A1200 - standar - to be converted to Sensi machine.

1 CD32 - FMV - Not working at the mo.
1 CD32 - which is why I bought this.

I used to use my tower Amiga every day, mostly using Tornado 3D and Imagine. Have a look at these :

http://www.aminet.org/pix/trace/kgside3.jpg
http://www.aminet.org/pix/trace/skys.jpg
http://www.aminet.org/pix/trace/robots2.jpg
http://www.aminet.org/pix/trace/caught.jpg

Now my Amigas mostly gather dust (except the Sensi machine). I'm using a PC with Studio 3D now. Still miss the beauty of the Amiga OS.

Just because....

2x A1200 (one with 030/50Mhz SCSI 32Mb RAM & 540Mb HD, other with 64Mb HD)
3x A500 (all with at least 1Mb)

+ usual other Amiga bits and bobs (disk drives, CD roms, bleh)

Mind you, the only time I use these machines now is for CAPS Apart from this weekend of course, when one went to London for a certain FIT.

From another forum I know someone who got an A1000 for free. Too bad there wasn't any software with it so he doesn't know what to do with it.

I have downloaded once everything that was online at eXotica and burned it onto CD, but then I suppose I lots a lot of updates, since I did that more than a year ago.

Same with Unexotica, I bet it got heavily updated after I burned my unexotica CD!
